Missouri Legislature Recommends $2.5 Million Increase for MOREnet

The Missouri General Assembly ended its budget conferences with a recommended $2.5 million increase in the recurring FY08 HB3 appropriation for MOREnet. While that is very encouraging news for MOREnet’s members, the appropriation bill is not final until signed by the governor.

Once state appropriations are final, MOREnet will adjust its FY08 budget with input from sponsor organizations and will then submit revised budget recommendations to the MOREnet Council. When the budget is endorsed by the Council, fee structures can be finalized, with an expectation that all FY08 member fee invoices can be released by September 2007.
