Communities Pages on the Redesigned Website

Communities' pages are a new feature of MOREnet's redesigned website. These special pages are filled with links to information located throughout MOREnet's redesigned website, information of particular interest to specifically defined communities of users.

Initially these communities of shared interests have been identified as website users from the areas of:

• Higher education
• K-12 educators
• Librarians
• MOREnet Affiliates
• MOREnet Contacts
• News media
• Research
• Technicians
• Job seekers

MOREnet invites members of these communities to use the community pages as an entry into the MOREnet website that focuses on information and issues targeted to their needs and interests. Timely reminders, useful tips, quick links to important information appear in a single, collected page.

We would like to provide links to the kinds of information you need and use regularly on the MOREnet site. What have we missed in the first generation of these new communities' pages? What else should we collect here? Please send your comments and suggestions to communications@more.net.

In the future, MOREnet would like to offer more capabilities for individuals to customize the information they receive from MOREnet. Research for the next phase of the website redesign — into enhanced features, content storage, delivery and display — has already begun.
