David Byland

Director, Administrative Services, MOREnet

David Byland has been with the UM System since October 2000, where he served as the coordinator of technology acquisitions before joining MOREnet.

As MOREnet's director of Administrative Services, Byland is responsible for organizational planning and performance, fiscal operations, procurement, contract administration, project and event services, human resources, professional development, facility services and business continuity planning.

Byland is a graduate of Central Missouri State University, where he earned his MBA and a BS in Business Administration (Data Processing). He has also earned licenses as a real estate, insurance and securities broker.
