William A. "Bill" Mitchell

Executive Director, MOREnet
Associate Vice President for Telecommunications, University of Missouri System

Since 1990, Bill Mitchell has served as Executive Director of MOREnet, Missouri's state education network. MOREnet is part of the University of Missouri System and provides Internet connectivity, training and technical support to the state's K-12 schools, colleges and universities, libraries, state government and community information networks. In 1999, he also assumed the responsibilities of Associate Vice President, Telecommunications, for the University of Missouri System.

David Byland

Director, Administrative Services, MOREnet

David Byland has been with the UM System since October 2000. He served as the coordinator of technology acquisitions before joining MOREnet.

Chip Byers

Director, Operations, MOREnet

Since rejoining MOREnet in 1995, Chip has served as a consultant, the Manager of Systems and Programming as well as his current role as the Director of Operations.

Ben E. Colley

Director, Strategic Technologies, MOREnet
Systems Architect for Strategic Technologies, University of Missouri System

One of four original employees, Ben Colley has been with MOREnet since 1990. Colley served as technical lead for the initial planning, funding and implementation of MOREnet — Missouri's first collaborative information technology initiative. Since 1997, Colley has led MOREnet's research of emerging technologies.

William B. "Bill" Giddings

Director, Education and Library Programs, MOREnet

Bill Giddings is the Director of MOREnet's Education and Library Programs. He served as the K-12 Program Manager for MOREnet from 1993-2002. In June 2002, he was named Director for MOREnet's Education and Library Programs, which provides the critical linkage between MOREnet and the K-20 and public library communities.
