Connections 2007: Request for Presenters
Presentation proposals are no longer being accepted.
Play an active part in Connections 2007 – submit a presentation proposal and help to create an innovative and informative program.
On March 28-30, 2007, MOREnet will sponsor Connections 2007, the MOREnet Spring Technical Conference, and in association with the Missouri Education and Research Consortium (MERC), HELIX 2007, the Higher Education Learning & Information eXchange Conference. On Thursday, March 29, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., there will be an Exhibitor Fair for the participants of both conferences.
The 2007 Connections conference program committee invites the online submission of presentation proposals that reflect directly to the conference tracks: Network Administration; Technology Support & Implementation; Planning & Budgeting; Risk Management; and Public Access Computing. Authors of accepted presentations will be invited to present their work at the conference in hour-long breakout sessions.

Equipment
MOREnet will ensure the breakout rooms will have the following equipment:
- An Ethernet connection
- Data projector and screen
- Podium
- Presenter head table
Presenters are responsible for bringing their presentation computers and any other presentation or additional equipment needs (e.g. computers, audio, video) they require. If there is additional equipment that requires setup, the presenter needs to explicitly detail this in their presentation proposal and notify MOREnet so consideration can be given to room availability, setup time, and resources before a final decision is made. Tan-Tar-A has audiovisual equipment available for rental. Call Tan-Tar-A at (573) 348-3131 for details.
Handouts
It is preferred to have handouts available for your session. Presenters are responsible for bringing those copies with them. MOREnet will notify presenters with information on the number of participants registered for each session two weeks prior to the start of the conference.
After the conference is over, handouts can also be made available electronically on the conference website.
Attire
Dress for the conference is business casual. Tie or jacket is not required. Remember that meeting room temperatures and personal comfort ranges vary widely, so we recommend dressing in layers and bringing either a sweater or light jacket in case rooms seem cold.
