Program Advertising

The 2008 HELIX and Connections programs are high-quality publications that includes the conference schedule, session descriptions, exhibitor information and other essential attendee information. Covers are full color, and the book has spot color throughout. The program is distributed to every Event attendee at registration.

Ad Guidelines

  • Quality cannot be guaranteed for advertisements that do not follow these guidelines.

  • Submit high-resolution (minimum 300 dpi) electronic file in .tif or .eps format OR camera-ready artwork (electronic files preferred) directly to Lein Shory at communications@more.net. For questions about artwork, contact MOREnet Communications at (573) 882-9095.

  • Black and white (grayscale) only.

  • Advertising space in the Connections and HELIX programs is limited; ad space is not secured until payment is received.

  • Ad location in the program booklet cannot be guaranteed, except for inside front and back cover ads.

  • MOREnet reserves the right to refuse or ask for modifications, based on ad's content.

Door Prizes

Participants will be awarded door prizes donated by sponsors and exhibitors. If you’d like to contribute a gift to the door prize drawing, please notify at conferences@more.net, and bring the item with you to HELIX and Connections.

Exhibit Hall

Once again, the Exhibitor Fair will be in the Grand Ballroom. Registration for exhibit space runs from Oct. 18, 2007 until March 29, 2008 . However, to be included in the program, your registration must be received no later than February 8, 2008.

Social Events Held in the Exhibit Hall

*Prize Drawings will occur during each of the following times.

Wednesday, April 2

  • 7-9 p.m. Exhibit Hall Grand Opening Reception

Thursday, April 3

  • 9:15-9:45 a.m.: Break
  • 1-2 p.m.: Exhibit Non-compete Time
  • 3-3:45 p.m.: Break
  • 5-6:30 p.m.: Exhibitor Reception

Deadline for Program inclusion: February 8, 2008

Set-up: Wednesday, April 2, 3-6:30 p.m.
Exhibitor Fair and Grand Opening Reception: Wednesday, April 2, 7-9 p.m.
Exhibit Hall open: Thursday, April 3, 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. along with Exhibitor Reception from 5-6:30 p.m.
Dismantle: Thursday, April 3, 7-10 p.m.
Please Note: Penalty incurred for early dismantle without prior approval.

Participation Costs

Booth space is $600 and includes the following:

  • One 8’ x 10’ carpeted booth space
  • One 6’ x 30” skirted table
  • Two chairs
  • 7” x 44” identification sign
  • Wastebasket
  • One 110-volt outlet
  • Company information in Connections and HELIX programs (distributed to respective participants)
  • Exhibit hall passes for two representatives
  • Exhibitor Hospitality Area
  • Meal functions held in Exhibit Hall

Internet Connectivity is available for your booth for an additional $75.

Additional tables, phone lines or audio-visual equipment are available through Tan-Tar-A. Complete the material handling form below and fax it to Tan-Tar-A at [573] 348=8605 or contact them with questions at (573) 348-8551.

Additional representative passes are available at $150 each.

NOTE: Do not use this form to order electricity. It is already included in your booth fee.

Booth space is not reserved until payment received. Payment must be received in advance of the event and within 15 business days of registration or the request will be cancelled. Onsite booth set-up and future registration requests will not be allowed for exhibitors with any balance due.

Payments are not split. The company reserving space is responsible for full payment.

Safety

Exhibit and booth materials are to comply with federal, state and city insurance underwriters and hotel safety regulations with special precautions against flammable or explosive matter, deficient wiring, storage of packing materials in exhibit area and blocking of aisle.

Liability & Security

By submitting your Exhibitor Application, you agree to the following:

1. Exhibitor assumes the entire responsibility for losses, damages and claims arising out of exhibitor’s activities on the Hotel’s premises and will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Hotel, its owner, and its management company, as well as their respective agents, servants and employees from any and all such losses, damages, and claims.

2. The exhibit area will be secured, to the extent possible, during those hours when the exhibit area is not open to the public. However, MOREnet cannot guarantee against loss, damage, or injury of any kind. Be advised, exhibitor should not leave valuables unattended during setup, exhibit hours and after show hours, and/or tear down. Exhibitors are solely responsible for the security of their exhibits and equipment. Exhibitor will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MOREnet and the University of Missouri from any and all such losses, damages, and claims.

Code of Professional Responsibility

1. Exhibitor agrees to interact with integrity and courtesy toward all conference participants and support staff. Exhibitor agrees to accurately represent and showcase products and services for the benefit of conference participants.

2. Exhibitor acknowledges that Internet connectivity for the exhibit hall and meeting rooms is provided by MOREnet, utilizing the MOREnet statewide network. Connectivity is provided for the sole purpose of exhibiting products and services and related business that support MOREnet member participants and their purposes. See MOREnet Service Policies for more information.

3. Exhibitor agrees to have exhibit space set up and staffed during all open exhibit hall hours. Early tear-down will incur a $50 penalty.

MOREnet Technology Conference

Please note the name of your company and the contact person, as well as the booth number, and identify all shipments to ensure timely delivery to the exhibit halls.

Any extra precaution you can take to ensure that your shipment arrives at Page & Brown no later than Friday, March 18, would be to your benefit. It is suggested that you obtain a tracking number for your shipment and check its status as often as possible so you are not surprised by a delayed or lost shipment when you arrive at Tan-Tar-A.

Shipments can be sent to Page & Brown as much as 30 days in advance.

Do not ship your materials to Tan-Tar-A's resort location.
