Conference Internet Access/Network Information
The hardware and software for the presenter's computer should be installed and operational before arrival at the conference. MOREnet personnel will not be available to install these components. However, MOREnet support staff will be available to help presenters test connectivity. Presenters that need an Internet connection are strongly encouraged to test their connection at least one hour prior to their scheduled presentation.
MOREnet provides multiple T1s (1.5 Mbps) access to the Internet from Tan-Tar-A. To access the Internet from the conference, presenters who need an Internet connection must have the following components installed and operational on their computer.
- Ethernet network card installed -- using RJ45 connectors only
- Ethernet network card driver installed
- TCP/IP software
Note: Wireless connectivity is not available for presentations.
A DHCP server will provide IP addresses. Computers must be configured to receive an IP address via DHCP (or obtain IP address from server). Your organization's technical support personnel may be able to provide assistance. MOREnet support personnel also can assist with this configuration. Static IP addresses will be provided on request.
Presenters are invited to take advantage of MOREnet Technical Support resources:

Conference sponsors do not provide standard phone lines to presentation rooms. Presenters who want a standard phone line must contact Tan-Tar-A at (573) 348-8573 to make the arrangements. Presenters are responsible for all charges for standard phone line usage.
