MOREnet Now Supports Cities and Counties

The Missouri Research and Education Network (MOREnet) can provide or assist municipalities and counties with any level of affordable technology support from a simple Website to cloud computing. The service offerings below are designed to support the specific technology demands of cities and counties. .

Communications Service Package

For cities and counties that require e-mail and web hosting services in a trusted, secure facility, MOREnet is pleased to introduce the Communications Service package. Services include:

  • Hosted E-mail Service for up to 10 user accounts*
    • Includes E-mail, Virus and Spam Filtering to for an added layer of protection
    • Includes E-mail Archiving for aid with open records compliance
  • Hosted Web Service*, including a dynamic Website solution with a Content Management System (CMS) to make managing your Website easier than ever
  • Two seats to a training workshop on creating a Website and using the CMS; bring your content and leave the workshop with a live, web presence for your city or county
  • Technical support help desk for questions regarding the hosted e-mail or web service

For cities and counties that not only require e-mail and web hosting services, but also network security and local area network consulting, unlimited access to technical training and a help desk for various technical support needs, MOREnet is pleased to introduce the Technology Ready Service Package. Services include:

  • Hosted E-mail Service for up to 10 user accounts*
    • Includes E-mail, Virus and Spam Filtering to for an added layer of protection
    • Includes E-mail Archiving for aid with open records compliance
  • Hosted Web Service*, including a dynamic Website solution with a Content Management System (CMS) to make managing your Website easier than ever Unlimited technical training from our MOREnet expert training staff
  • Unlimited access to our technical support help desk for questions regarding the hosted e-mail or web service and other supported technologies
  • Network security services (not including connectivity support)
  • Up to 10 hours* of network consulting services for local and wide area technologies
  • Discussion list hosting
