Call for Presentations Now Extended!

MOREnet is delighted to announce Google is coming to Connections and HELIX 2012: Learning Without Limits at the Downtown Marriott in Kansas City, Mo., March 21- 23!

Jaime Casap, Senior Education Evangelist for Google, Inc. will be our opening keynote on Thursday, March 22. In addition, Google will be offering at least two additional conference sessions in a Google Lab equipped with Google Chromebooks. Other presenters will also be given the opportunity to host sessions in the Google Lab.

MOREnet wants to give more members the opportunity to earn their way to a free registration by becoming presenters at Connections or HELIX 2012. We have extended our call for presentations deadline to Sunday, Dec. 11 to give everyone a chance to submit.

We are looking for presentations on mobility, 1:1 initiatives, emerging technologies, wireless network management, cutting-edge ideas and problem-solving opportunities. If you have something you have recently implemented at your organization and would like to share with your peers, submit your presentation proposal! One MOREnet-member presenter receives a free registration per selected presentation proposal and non-members receive one half-price registration for each selected presentation proposal.

In addition, conference registration opens earlier than ever to members, and we expect a great response due to our program and location. Hurry and register for the conference to secure your spot! If you are selected as a presenter, MOREnet will refund or waive your conference registration after Jan. 3 when conference sessions are announced.

We have a new conference website this year that will be both interactive and informative, so be sure to check it out at It will keep you up-to-date on news regarding the conference as well as new agenda items when they are added. It will also be where you can register for conference, follow our Twitter feed and find all the sessions to attend when they are posted on Jan. 3.
