Eligibility Requirements

Affiliates include non-tax-supported libraries, similar non-profit organizations and for-profit organizations that are recognized as higher education institutions by the Missouri Department of Higher Education. Any Affiliate member must not be eligible for inclusion in one of the other MOREnet managed Programs.

Policies and Procedures

In order to enable stable and reliable connections, MOREnet provides router management services for the gateway router that provides access from the MOREnet network to a site's network, as defined in the Router Mnagement service description.

MOREnet offers Internet Connection Support with all memberships. Extended hours of support are available for members requiring support beyond normal business hours with completion of an Extended Support Hours Service Level Agreement.

All Affiliate organizations must comply with the MOREnet Service Policies.

Application Process

To apply for Affiliate membership please fill out and sign two original copies of the MOREnet Participation Agreement (PDF) and mail to:

One original will be returned to you once MOREnet Administration has approved the application and signed both Participation Agreements.
 
Once accepted as an Affiliate, the new member will need to fill out the online Connection Information Form. Once received, an order form will be generated and sent to the new member for signature and return to MOREnet. Once the signed order form is received, the circuit order will be placed. MOREnet services and connections are set up and ready to use approximately eight to twelve weeks after the order is placed. Please note that some connections could take longer depending upon circuit type and physical location.
