Oh the places you’ll go!

We’re pleased to support the Computer Professions on Demand (CPoD) scheduled for June 8-11. CPoD has been serving high school students since 1998. Through this program, students who earned a spot through an application process, are exposed to the diverse and exhilarating field of computer information technology. Since its inception, the employer members of the Jefferson City Information Technology Coalition have annually provided funding for students to attend. As part of MOREnet’s involvement, we will have a panelist to help educate these 20 High School students about careers in technology.

If you are attending the Missouri Digital Government Summit on June 17, please stop by to say, “Hi.” As we continue to increase the power of the consortium, we began working closely with several local government groups to help serve cities and counties over the last year. This summit is a great opportunity for MOREnet to engage with various leaders and practitioners to learn how they handle today’s technology challenges, network with peers, share experiences, and discuss new technology.
