The Missouri House of Representatives passed HB3 with the 10 percent cut to MOREnet. The Senate Appropriations Committee will start deliberations this week and most likely complete mark-up next week.

I met with Senators Mayer, Dempsey, Bray and Schafer from the Senate Appropriations Committee and all expressed strong support for MOREnet. They anticipated that the Committee would attempt to restore at least a portion of the cut and provide additional one-time funds from the State Stabilization funding.

I also met with Trevor Foley, Senate Appropriations Budget Analyst and he indicated the same.
