March 2014 Member Update
Earn Two Free Days to this Year’s MOREnet Annual Conference by Sharing your Knowledge with Peers.
If you have ever attended a MOREnet conference, you have likely commented on the outstanding, talented and knowledgeable presenters who bring a wide variety of technical experience and educational expertise to enhance your experience. One of the many benefits of gathering at our conference is the networking and knowledge sharing that happens.
Each accepted presentation proposal from a MOREnet member receives one free seat for two days of the conference. You choose which days you would like to attend! Two accepted proposals will get you into the entire conference for free! The submission process is simple for the conference scheduled for October 27-30 in Columbia. Don’t miss this chance to be a part of the event with no registration fee!
Save Money with the Get MORE Bandwidth Promotion
MOREnet is passing along our savings through reduced fees for network connectivity for FY15. We are pleased to offer qualifying members the opportunity to take advantage of the reduced FY15 Network Connectivity Fees now- during FY14- and save with MOREnet’s Get MORE Bandwidth promotion.
PRODUCT YOU CAN USE
Because our members expressed the need for an exclusive multi-media channel with no commercials or “related videos” that may not be appropriate for the classroom, MOREnet launched watch.more.net. This service, created exclusively for MOREnet members, has become popular with many new subscribers.
MOREnet has also been able to take advantage of the easy-to-use uploading features and are using it to share our own event videos and service tutorials. We have recently added videos from our Show-Me TechKnowledge Day visit to the Capitol on Feb. 19, 2014.
Check out these videos and other great how-to videos about the watch.more.net service at http://watch.more.net.
