Affiliates include non-tax-supported libraries, community information networks, similar non-profit organizations and for-profit organizations that are recognized as higher education institutions by the Missouri Department of Higher Education. Any Affiliate member must not be eligible for membership as a public or private K-12 school, through the Missouri Education and Research Consortium (MERC) or via the Remote Electronic Access for Libraries (REAL) program.
