MOREnet is committed to supporting its members’ missions through the use of technology to enhance opportunities for public access, learning and research. With this commitment in mind, MOREnet has been developing and deploying several new services that will offer the latest solutions in the areas of business continuity and disaster recovery, cloud computing and business communication and collaboration.
EES Consortium Purchasing
Microsoft Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES) Program allows member organizations to use the current version of Windows and/or Office on all organization-owned equipment. Smaller organizations greatly benefit from our consortium rates.
Google Apps for Missouri
MOREnet has entered into an agreement with Google to provide training and support to K-12 members in the use of Google Apps for Education. Google Apps Education Edition allows schools to give Google's communication and collaboration applications to their entire organization.
Mobile Videoconferencing
MOREnet’s new Mobile Videoconferencing service is an affordable HD-quality personal telepresence system that can link room systems, desktops and mobile endpoints such as smart phones and tablets over most any Internet connection.
Network Backup
MOREnet is offering a network backup service for members to back up mission-critical data to an off-site location.
New Online Resources
Job and career resource provides an online resume and letter building tool with hundreds of occupation specific examples; a database of job and internship opportunities; over 1,000 occupational profiles; personalized career guidance testing and the ability to save work in a job search portfolio. SSL Certificates
MOREnet is offering SSL certificates to members for encrypted websites, e-mail service, file transfer and Adobe Document signing. This service allows members to increase security of transmitted data and information at a minimal additional expense.
Virtual Server Service
MOREnet Members can host services outside their networks (“in the cloud”). Subscribers can run many of their existing services on a remotely located server, avoiding the cost of buying and upgrading servers and increasing their server resources with a single phone call.
