Service Description

MOREnet's Remote Conference Management (RCM) service is a fee-based service that enables members who schedule large numbers of videoconferences to monitor and manage their active videoconferences and view the schedule of upcoming events through a single login window.

Features

For videoconferences scheduled on MOREnet video bridges (MCUs), RCM members will be able to use many of the following features:

• Monitor videoconferences
• Dial out to participants
• View scheduled events
• Adjust broadcast and/or listening volumes for each participant
• Disconnect/reconnect participants
• Extend conference time
• Change the video layout
• Select or change lecture mode
• Mute audio and/or video for a participant from the MCU
• Monitor conference status to help troubleshoot problems

Eligibility

MOREnet members in consortiums or large organizations who originate several hundred events on the MOREnet video bridges each semester may find this service useful.

Pricing

The price of the MOREnet Remote Conference Management service is $2,500 for the service period, July 1 - June 30. The service period for members who subscribe to the service after July 1 will begin within 14 days of receipt of the order and end on June 30. The service period will be prorated to reflect the fiscal year.
