Join MOREnet and MSBA attorney Scott Summers, as he reviews the MSBA policy developed to help schools manage BYOD implementations.
BYOD Policy for Student Use of Personal Electronic Devices for Instructional Purposes
Web Seminar: June 26, 2013, 2 - 3 p.m.
Who Should Attend: Technical directors, superintendents and school board members
MOREnet and MSBA both provide services to help schools manage technology in the classroom. They are partnering together for this web seminar to help schools manage their BYOD implementations. MSBA policies, procedures and forms are drafted by seasoned attorneys who work exclusively on school law issues, and by experienced editors who review documents for grammar, syntax, punctuation and clarity.
A committee of superintendents, building administrators, school board members and school law attorneys review all policies, procedures and forms prior to publication. The Policy Services team works with MSBA’s Advocacy Department to monitor the policy impact of legislation. MSBA utilizes its contacts with state agencies and professional organizations to ensure that policies, procedures and forms are practitioner-friendly.
MOREnet provides technical support services to member schools to help them determine their technical readiness for BYOD implementations, and help them fix problems that may interfere with successful implementations.
