MOREnet is offering an exciting new service to members - Virtual Machines.  The Virtual Machines will provide members the opportunity to operate their own virtual machine in a MOREnet-managed virtual environment.  Members who already operate  their own virtual servers will be the first to off-load major CPU cycles or mission critical applications to MOREnet’s virtual environment without having to acquire and collocate equipment.

MOREnet is offering an exciting new service to members - the Colocation Service.  The Colocation Service will house member-owned equipment in the UM/MOREnet data center.  Members colocating equipment have access to secure data facilities with rack space, power and connectivity.  This facility has direct access to the MOREnet Core network at backbone speeds.  Members can effectively manage their own equipment in a secure, off-site facility.

If you use Windows workstations, you have no doubt encountered at least one malware infected system. We will demonstrate how to quickly and easily setup a local Windows Software Restriction Policy that will keep many pieces of malware from running on your systems. We will look at both Windows XP and Windows 7, as there are different methods for some versions of Windows 7.
