We welcome and encourage you to join us for Missouri’s first Future of Learning Forum where Missouri students will come together for an intensive hands-on design camp to re–imagine the future of learning. Our simple student application process will seek passionate and creative students to participate in a collaborative environment alongside the MOREnet annual fall conference, MITC 2011. This year at MITC, we have created an administrative focus on Sunday, October 9 with an opening keynote featuring Dr. Chris Nicastro and an expert panel on Mass Customized Learning moderated by Dr. Nicastro. Before and after, there will be opportunities to visit with the students participating in the Forum.
Prior to the Forum, during July and August 2011, MOREnet will organize and invite its members to participate in web seminars on design-thinking, the basis for the Forum. In August, the student Forum application process will open and we hope you will encourage your students to apply.
The Forum is intended to be the first of many formal and informal venues to encourage the creative process for reinventing, and re-imagining the learning process; real-world problems solved through design, leveraging community, imagination and technology.
