• NewsBank Databases are available to all MOREnet Members and Project Participants using MOREnet affiliated IP addresses or other static IP addresses assigned to your organization and on file at MOREnet.
  As of Aug. 1, 2008, the contracted service has changed to provide access to The Kansas City Star and St. Louis Post-Dispatch only.

• Remote access by registered/authorized staff, students and patrons is allowed for:

  • Higher Education: All databases
  • K-12 Schools, Public Libraries and all other non-Higher Education MOREnet customers:
    • Permitted: St. Louis Post Dispatch
    • Not permitted: Kansas City Star

Online reference resources are only available to persons in your service area through dial-up access points provided by the organization or other authentication methods.
