Annual Fees

Affiliate Membership

All eligible Affiliate organizations will pay an annual $4,000 membership fee.

FY07 Bandwidth Fee

MOREnet will charge each Affiliate member $1,600 per Mbps per year to help defray transport and Internet expenses. For a T1 (1.5 Mbps), this fee would amount to 1.5 x $1,600 = $2,400.

Connection-Related Fees

• Installation Fee: As billed by the telephone company.
  • MOREnet does not add any fees for a customer's first connection, or for upgrading the current connection. However, MOREnet will add a $400 fee for adding an additional connection or for moving a connection from one location to another.
  • One-time fee.
  • Customer funded.

• Line Charge: As billed by the telephone company.
  • Monthly fee.
  • Customer funded.

• Additional Connection Fee:
• First connection is included in Affiliate Service Fee.
• $1,600 per year for each additional managed connection that requires an additional router. An additional connection added to an existing router does not invoke this fee.
• $400 per year for each additional (non-managed) connection that requires an additional router. An additional connection added to an existing router does not invoke this fee.
• Annual fee.
• Customer funded.

• Router Packages: Models and prices vary depending upon application and bandwidth. CSU and other required components are included in the router package price. Please contact Program Manager for details.

• Router Maintenance: Prices vary by model.

Other Services

Conferences
MOREnet hosts/co-hosts conferences on behalf of members. Refer to http://www.more.net/conferences/ for detailed information.

• Costs are not part of the Affiliate Membership Fee.

Technical Consulting

• Part of the Affiliate Membership Fee.

Domain Name Registration
Variable cost per registration.

Modem Pool Management Fee
Only available for current modem pool customers.

• $3,000 per controller up to 96 modems on a single chassis.
• Annual fee.
• Customer funded.

Server Fees

Systems Administration

• $10,000 per year per server.
• Annual fee.
• Customer funded.

kinetic Fee

• kinetic service details and fees.
• Provides e-mail and Web-hosting. Replaces Lesche server fee for CINs.
• Annual fee.
• Customer funded.

Training
Some contracted specialty training is fee-based regardless of customer group. See Training catalog for details.

Usenet Newsfeed
