Finding Missouri: Our History and Heritage Video Series
The 18-part video
series, Finding Missouri: Our History and Heritage, for students and
teachers in Missouri's elementary and secondary schools, was funded by the Missouri
Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and the Historical
Preservation Section of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
eThemes
eThemes
is an online database of Internet resources organized by topic to help classroom
teachers identify and integrate suitable Internet resources into their instruction.
Graduate students from the University of Missouri's College of Education with
library science and educational technology backgrounds serve as eThemes' resource
scouts. With more than 600 thematic units tied to state performance and knowledge
standards, eThemes has helped numerous teachers minimize time spent seeking out
useful websites. All eThemes resources are available for the entire educational
community to access and use
WebQuests by Missouri Educators
WebQuests
created by Missouri educators provide teachers with lesson organization strategies
to integrate inquiry-based teaching activities and technology in meaningful, interesting
ways. WebQuests submitted by classroom teachers are reviewed by eMINTS staff;
the best are chosen and posted on the eMINTS website. This continually-growing
resource is available for use by K-12 teachers from any state.
