REAL
Internet Connection and Hardware
An Internet connection will be provided to each library and branch library that meet eligibility requirements. (REAL program funded connectivity for branch locations is available as long as E-rate discounts are being received by the Missouri State Library.) Branch libraries are eligible for their own dedicated data connections when open a minimum of 15 hours per week with some evening and/or weekend hours. All connections provided will be size appropriate for the community being served. Also provided are the following:
- Router and Data Service Unit (DSU) needed to connect to a Internet connection.
- Hardware and software maintenance on the router and DSU.
