e-Conferencing Training
Training from MOREnet
Foundational Centra 7 training courses and materials are provided with the service, direct from MOREnet.
Scheduled instructor-led training sessions for Event Managers, Leaders, Content Developers and Participants are offered via the Centra tool. Asynchronous training tools and materials also are available. For optimum success, each local event manager is required to participate in the Managing Events training sessions led by a MOREnet trainer.

Course Descriptions
MOREnet e-Conferencing Service: First Course
This two-hour module introduces the tool used for the MOREnet e-Conferencing service and is delivered using Centra. It serves as a pre-requisite for all other classes and is highly recommended for successful use and implementation. By the completion of this module, the user should feel comfortable with the participant interface and the tools that might be used during a session. Symposium, Conference and eMeeting are presented.
Pre-requisite: It is highly recommended that the participant download the Participant Guided Tour and follow the instructions to maximize his or her learning experience.
MOREnet e-Conferencing Service: Leading Events
This class is divided into four two-hour modules and is delivered using Centra. Although the content is geared toward using the tool to deliver Symposium events, many of the skills acquired relate to the other tools (Conference, eMeeting and Web Seminar) as well. Additional resources and job aids will be available to each Leader to assist with this task. Each of the modules has a specific focus and should be taken in the order shown.

MOREnet e-Conferencing Service: Developing Content
This class is divided into four two-hour modules and is delivered using Centra. Although there are several tools in this suite, developing content is necessary for Symposium, Conference and Web Seminar. Understanding which features are available in each tool is a necessary component for creating quality content that is applicable to the tool selected for delivery. Participants will be able to demonstrate their skills related to content design and creation, feature identification, assembly and testing. Additional resources and job aids will be available to each Content Developer to assist with this task. Each of the modules has a specific focus and should be taken in the order shown.

MOREnet e-Conferencing Service: Managing Events
This class is divided into three two-hour modules and is delivered using Centra. Although there are several tools in this suite, managing events is necessary for Symposium, Conference and Web Seminar. Participants will be able to demonstrate their skills related to creating and maintaining users, setting up events and web seminars. Additional resources and job aids will be available to each Event Manager to assist with this task. Each of the modules has a specific focus and should be taken in the order shown.
