Polycom Speed and Duplex Settings

To work properly, codecs must be connected to a switch and the port to which the codec is connected must be "locked down" as follows:

VU 128, 384/512, DCP, DCP MP, V.35

Speed:
10 Mbps
Duplex:
Half duplex

ViaVideo II/PVX

Computer NIC:
100 Mbps
Duplex:
Full duplex

FX and VS4000

Speed:
100 Mbps or
Auto*
Duplex:
Full duplex or
Auto*

*Try both settings, 100/Full and Auto, to determine which works better in your environment.

VSX 7000 and VSX 8000 Series

Speed:
100 Mbps or
Auto*
Duplex:
Full duplex or
Auto*
