Agenda: MOREnet Video Users' Group Conference
2006
MOREnet invites members to the 3rd Annual
Video Users’ Group (VUG) Conference on Tuesday,
Aug. 1, 2006, in Columbia, Mo.
As new equipment and technology continue to emerge, MOREnet
strives to stay ahead of the trends to make sure our members have access to
the latest hardware, software, support and expertise. The Users' Group Conference
offers you a chance to share your feedback with MOREnet and to share ideas
with peers.
The VUG Conference is free to MOREnet members, but registration
is required. Registration deadline is July 14, 2006 before 5:00 p.m.
- To
register to attend the Conference in Columbia, please complete the Web
Registration Form.
- There are also a few seats available to attend
the Conference through videoconferencing (limited to 9 locations on
a first come, first served basis). Call MOREnet Video at (573) 884-6986
to reserve a videoconferencing seat for your organization.

Field House and Riverbluff Cave; Bill Giddings, Programs Director, MOREnet
Hear firsthand from the field and laboratory crew how this site was discovered
and about their decision to use the site as an educational tool to provide K-12
educators an opportunity to conduct group and individualized research.

Learn how you can take your students from the classroom to the world and back
again. The project directors of RoundTrips and teachers from the School District
of Clayton describe how their portable satellite transmitter and videoconferencing
and webcasting studio can help your students explore a wide range of topics as
they connect live to people and places across the country. |

Conference will be held in Columbia in the Osher
Lifelong Learning Institute Training Facility (formerly the MOREnet Training Facility) located at 3215B
LeMone Industrial Blvd, Room W130. Please enter on the lower west end of
the building.
