Downloading Class Materials from MOREnet's FTP and Web Servers

To download class materials from MOREnet's FTP and Web servers, use either an FTP client or a browser's FTP capability of to access the materials.

FTP Client

1. Open preferred FTP client (WS_FTP or Fetch, etc.)
2. Fill in three required pieces of information
• Host - vortex.more.net
• User ID - type or choose anonymous
• Password - by convention, your e-mail address
  Note: Depending on the FTP client, names for these fields may differ slightly. For example, some clients refer to the "destination host," "host address" or "connect-to host."
3. Navigate to ftp/training/classmaterials/classname folder.
4. Download selected files or folders to your chosen local destination.
5. Note: Using an FTP client permits downloading multiple files and folders at one time.

Browser

1. Right-click link.
2. Choose Save Target As (IE) or Save Link Target As (Netscape).
3. Navigate to desired local directory and save file.
4. Note: A browser can download only one file at a time.
