Coding for Younger Children

Tuesday, April 24, 2018 - 12:00pm to 4:00pm
Columbia

This half day, hands-on course teaches the basics of robotics and coding for younger children, ages 3-5. Multiple tools will be identified and demonstrated, and then participants will be given time to explore and create using different robots and coding resources. This interactive session is geared to help participants get age-specific coding activities into their libraries. Participants will be engaged in projects that will showcase essential skills necessary for success in the coding environment: problem-solving, sequential thinking and collaboration.
