Introduction to WordPress

WordPress is an easy-to-use open source tool used to create great-functioning and great-looking websites. In this course, libraries and schools will learn how to set up a basic website using a template. Once set up, the WordPress site becomes an easy-to-navigate and update portal for access to school and library resources. This is an introductory course designed for beginners to learn the basic functionality of a WordPress site. This course will run from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. with a one-hour break for lunch on your own. Pre-registration is required by Aug. 10, as each participating organization will have a custom template ready to edit during this hands-on workshop. Training is free for Full Service Members and current Managed Web Hosting customers. Other attendees have a $50 fee which would be credited towards the purchase of the Managed Web Hosting service.
