Unplugging Computer Science

In this era of technology, it will be essential for young learners to have at least a basic understanding of computer science (CS) concepts.  Unplugging CS is a great way to introduce key aspects without having to access any technology.  This session will explore activities to teach key CS ideas such as how a computer interprets binary values, as well as looking into information theory and image representation.  (Although this presentation is being presented virtually, the session will guide attendees through ways to present to their target audience without the need for technology.)
