Cyber Security Awareness Month

  • Published: Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019

October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month. Take this opportunity to work with staff, students, friends and family to help keep everyone #CyberAware. Your focus can be structured toward your environment. Did you notice an unlocked door or someone gaining unauthorized access to a room or device? Is your coworker sharing their password with others? Did someone inadvertently open an unsolicited email attachment?

These are all areas of focus for your cyber security awareness program. Take some time to institute an ongoing program that discusses physical security, unauthorized access, password best practices and phishing.

This year’s message.. Own IT. Secure IT. Protect IT.
