Creating a Scratch Project

  • Published: Friday, May 29, 2020

Needing to bring new life into a traditional presentation, trading in the poster board for a digital canvas? Want to give your students a way to showcase their creativity while exploring computer science standards? Scratch utilizes block coding to allow users to create projects, games or interactive presentations. Accessible across most devices, Scratch provides an outlet to design projects from basic to professional that can be shared to peers, teachers or the Scratch community. In this session, we will explore how to add characters, animate their movements, add sound and explore how to incorporate computer science principles to a wide range of learning activities.

Register to participate in MOREnet’s Creating a Scratch Project on Tuesday June 2 from 1-2:30 p.m.
