Category Authorization Process for MOREnet-hosted

Administrators at subscribing organizations have the ability to view their current filtering categories and change them at any time.

  1. Log into the Netsweeper Webadmin tool.
  2. Click Policy Management
  3. Click Policy Manager
  4. Click on the name of your Policy you want to change. Most of the time the Policy will be called default.
  5. Under Categories, click Modify Categories.
  6. Check or uncheck categories as needed.
  7. Click Submit
  8. Logout

All organizations subscribing to the MOREnet-hosted Internet Content Filtering service are required to complete and sign a category selection authorization form. This authorization form must be signed by the organization’s Institutional Representative of record and can be faxed to MOREnet at (573) 884-8917.

If an organization requires changes after the order form is submitted, they may log in and make the changes themselves or the Institutional Representative of record can send an email to to request that MOREnet make the change for them.
