We have a team of dedicated trainers who are SMART, Apple, Nearpod, Raspberry Pi and Google Certified Trainers. They deliver the most up-to-date and convenient training possible through a variety of methods including on-site, in-house, at conferences and online.
Occasionally, we contract outside resources for a specific or in-depth topic that may require a small registration fee. If a class requires additional charges it is always indicated in the description. In most cases, this is still at a lower price point than available elsewhere.
Training Services to Meet Your Needs
Live, Virtual
Our online offerings cover a variety of subjects from computer science standards and AI to Google Earth, digital citizenship, using online resources such as EBSCO and LearningExpress Library, and so many more. Online courses are included for all MOREnet members and delivered in real-time via Zoom. We know your time is valuable and many of these classes are offered in less than one hour. In Person at Our Columbia Office
Interactive training is offered at the MOREnet offices in Columbia is usually full- or half-day classes. These in-person classes are included as part of our Full Membership Service Package (MSP), and those with a Basic MSP attend for a nominal fee. In these classes, you will reveive customized lessons from our expert trainers in the MOREnet Immersive Learning Lab (MILL). View our training schedule.
On Demand With Canvas
This training is at your own pace and delivered via Canvas. MOREnet members can complete as many sessions as desired at no additional charge. Topics include, online resources, Lumio, Open Educational Resources and Digital Equity, with more on the way. View our on-demand courses.
In Person at Your Location
Our trainers will travel to your location and provide in-person professional development to your staff on a variety of subjects. These sessions are among our most popular and provide a full- or half-day of interactive learning. For those with a Full MSP, the cost is simply our travel expenses. Those with a Basic MSP pay a per-person training fee plus travel expenses. To set up training for your staff, email training@more.net.
Computer Science and AI Training
For the past several years, we have worked with DESE to implement Missouri Computer Science Standards training. MOREnet’s team of dedicated technology integration specialists deliver the most up-to-date, relevant, and convenient training possible through both synchronous and asynchronous options. Missouri educators can choose from various classes that align well to computer science standards at no charge! This includes in-person and online classes about Artificial Intelligence, coding, digital citizenship, 3D printing and electronics.
