Networking 101 Self-Assessment

Please print this self-assessment form. Indicate your knowledge level for each of the skills or tasks listed by circling the corresponding number. Once completed, add the circled numbers to calculate your score. Recommendations based on your score are provided at the end of the assessment.

MOREnet recommends that contacts attend all of the classes in the TNP/REAL Contact Training course track, but you may opt out of the Internet Essentials class (see Internet Essentials Self-assessment Form) and the Networking 101 class if you have sufficient knowledge.

You may have difficulty with some networking concepts necessary to be a successful as a MOREnet contact for your organization. We recommend that you enroll in the session called Networking 101.

Total score between 41 and 60

Your networking skills are likely adequate to be a successful MOREnet contact for your organization. You may wish to attend the Networking 101 class if you would like to deepen your knowledge of networking concepts.
