E-rate Training Sessions
In late October and early November, MOREnet conducts regional training sessions on the E-rate program. These sessions are intended as an introduction to the program. During this training, participants receive an overview of the E-rate program, including eligible services, the application process and the required forms.
On-Demand Events
MOREnet provides alternatives for events not already scheduled or typically provided. Our members may request in-services, regionals, or additional topics supplied by our contracted vendor. These arrangements are made by contacting MOREnet Training at (573) 884-7200 or training@more.net.
MOREnet is pleased to announce opportunities for in-services held at your organization or online. These events are specific to the requesting organization and registration is open to only attendees the organization wishes to invite.
MOREnet is pleased to announce opportunities for regionals held at your organization. Regionals are open to all members but held in locations throughout the state.
MOREnet is pleased to offer additional course topics to our members at a substantially discounted rate. MOREnet (through University of Missouri Procurement) contracts with New Horizons to supply technical and end-user courses not provided by our MOREnet trainers. All arrangements for class registration must be made through MOREnet, and in turn MOREnet will work with New Horizons to supply the course. There is a minimum attendance number required.
Members have a variety of options for taking advantage of these classes, from attending training at New Horizons locations in St. Louis, Mo., and O’Fallon, Ill., to attending classes held at MOREnet’s facility, to having a specific topic brought to their organization. New Horizons also delivers many courses online, eliminating travel. The link above will take you to the national New Horizons website and allow you to review their entire course catalog at your convenience. You can view the St. Louis and O’Fallon schedules by narrowing your search in "Find Locations."
It is possible to make a request to attend events at other New Horizons locations; however, this is discretionary and approvals are not guaranteed. All arrangements must be made through MOREnet and MOREnet will work with their representatives at New Horizons in St. Louis for acceptance and approval.
