Heads up teachers, techs and librarians! Two great resources from Google just got new homes and partnerships that are REALLY exciting!

First, Google has re-imagined Google For Education (formerly split into Applied Digital Skills and Google Certification, where users can learn new skills and find great examples and classes for students. There are online courses and resources for educators and libraries around learning Google tools like Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc. as well as digital citizenship, Artificial Intelligence and more.

Also, Google is sunsetting CS First. These online, video based, interactive courses teach CS using a safe version of Scratch. But where is all that content going? To the Raspberry Pi Foundation! Check out Experience CS! This is a really exciting collaboration between the existing Google CS First content and The Raspberry Pi Foundation and their amazing CS content. The site just launched on June 1 so there is a lot more content coming and phase 2 will integrate these basic courses in coding using Scratch with higher level courses using Raspberry Pi and Python, which is an awesome next step.

Check back with these resources often this summer for new content and great ideas for lessons and activities to introduce CS and improve computer skills!
