Back in March, I attended the Women in Tech Breakfast at CoSN 2025 in Seattle. It was a morning that sparked new ideas, inspired deep conversations, and introduced me to some of the most supportive tech leaders I’ve ever met. Together, we shared stories, built community, and even created a book list of all of our favorite reads.
So when I saw CoSN announce its first-ever virtual book club, I didn’t hesitate. I signed up right away. I joined because I want to surround myself with people who uplift and challenge me. People who are brave enough to be vulnerable and bold enough to lead differently. And that’s exactly what I’ve found here.
We’re reading Brave, Not Perfect by Reshma Saujani, a book that invites us to fear less, fail more, and lead boldly. Every other Thursday from July through October, a thoughtful group of education technology leaders meets on Zoom to explore what it means to let go of perfection and lead with courage instead.
The book club is designed especially for current and aspiring women leaders—CTOs, CIOs, IT Directors, Digital Learning Specialists, and technology staff—but it’s open to all CoSN members who care about inclusive, bold leadership.
If you’re a CoSN member and ready to lead with more courage and less perfection, grab a copy of Brave, Not Perfect from your favorite bookseller and register here: CoSN Book Study Registration.
