To build long-term OER capacity and leadership, the Missouri OER State Action Team will offer funding to support a small Missouri-based cohort for certification in open education, thanks to a grant from the Midwestern Higher Education Compact (MHEC). The certification cohort will help expand our network of in-state OER experts, create future trainers and advocates, and build a pipeline for future leadership in the Missouri OER landscape.
Eligible participants will include librarians, faculty, instructional designers, and administrators committed to leading OER/OEP initiatives at their home institutions, in both K-12 and higher education.
The scholarship covers certification programs provided by Creative Commons and Library Juice Academy. Applicants must be employed at a Missouri institution.
