Google Arts & Culture is a helpful tool for classrooms. Here are three ways you can use it:

  1. Take Virtual Museum Tours: With Google Arts & Culture, you can visit famous museums and cultural places online. It’s like going on a virtual field trip! You can explore cool places like the Louvre, the British Museum, or the Smithsonian without leaving your classroom. Your teacher can guide you through the tour and talk about important artworks or historical items. It’s a great way to learn about different cultures and art.
  2. Study Artworks: Google Arts & Culture has a big collection of artwork from different times and artists. You can look at high-quality pictures of paintings and sculptures. This helps you learn about different art styles, famous artists, and how art has changed over time. You can talk about what you see in the artworks, like what they’re about, how they’re made, and what they might mean. You can also compare different artworks to understand them better.
  3. Try Augmented Reality: Google Arts & Culture has something cool called augmented reality (AR). You can use it on your phone or tablet. It lets you see famous artworks in a different way. You can put them into your own space and walk around them like they’re right there with you. It’s like having a virtual art gallery in your room! This can make art more exciting and help you understand it better.
